The Enrichment Exchange at Sunnyside Library

Our first library edition of The Enrichment Exchange popped up as part of the Sunnyside Library Summer Swap — and our community SHOWED UP. 🐱♻️💜

Neighbors brought cat toys, food, litter, litter boxes, beds and supplies to swap, share and give new life to. Throughout the afternoon, people stopped by to browse, talk cats, discover something new for their own pets and connect with other cat people in the neighborhood.

Thanks to an incredible group of volunteers, the Exchange became more than a table full of pet supplies — it became a little community gathering.

And nothing went to waste! Remaining items that could benefit cats in rescue were donated to Makin’ Biscuits Rescue, extending the Exchange beyond the event itself and helping even more cats.

A huge thank you to Sunnyside Library, our volunteers, everyone who donated, and every neighbor who stopped by.
