Purrent to Purrent: Feline Diabetes is a free virtual peer-support gathering for people caring for cats with diabetes. 🐾💜
Whether your cat was recently diagnosed or you've been navigating feline diabetes for years, this is a space to connect with other cat parents who understand the emotional side of the journey — the overwhelm, the learning curve, the routines, the wins, and everything in between.
Come as you are, share as much or as little as you'd like, and connect purrent to purrent.

Neighborhood Cat Stroll 🐱🌿

Meet at Aubergine Cafe — 50th & Skillman, Sunnyside
Bring your adventure kitty in their stroller, backpack, or secure carrier for a relaxed 30–45 minute neighborhood stroll through Sunnyside Gardens. We’ll slow down, take in the neighborhood, and give our cats a safe opportunity to experience some sights, sounds, smells, birds, trees, and fresh air.
This is meant to be a low-key community experience, not a race or a traditional pet walk. Cats should already be comfortable leaving home and traveling in their carrier, stroller, or backpack.
Afterward, we’ll head to The Screen Door for a little post-stroll hangout and ice cream. 🍦🐾

Neighborhood Cat Stroll 🐈🌿
August 29, 2026 | Sunnyside Gardens
Cats took over the neighborhood! 🐾 Our first Neighborhood Cat Stroll brought local cat parents and their feline companions together for a slow, stroller-friendly walk through historic Sunnyside Gardens.
With cats safely tucked into strollers, backpacks, and carriers, we explored the neighborhood while learning a little about the history of the Gardens, meeting fellow cat lovers, and enjoying a beautiful morning together.
More than anything, the stroll was about community, connection, and finding new ways to include our cats in the neighborhoods we call home.
A huge thank-you to everyone who joined us—and to our wonderful volunteer Stephanie for helping lead the way and sharing some Sunnyside Gardens history along the route. 💜🐈
We’re already looking forward to the next stroll!
